At Norton sub Hamdon and West Chinnock Federation, we pride ourselves on the high quality teaching and care we provide for our children. We emphasise traditional values such as self-discipline, hard work and respect for others and this is reflected in pupils' achievements, both in their academic attainment and in their general behaviour and conduct.

The Federation consist of two small rural Primary Schools: West Chinnock has an annual intake of 8 pupils, with two mixed age classes and Norton Sub Hamdon has an annual intake of 17 pupils with 4 classes.

The school's catchment area comprises the villages of Norton sub Hamdon, West and Middle Chinnock however we do take children from outside our catchment area.

We firmly believe that education is a shared partnership between home and school. YOU are very important in your child's education and we strive to work closely with all parents. Through this partnership we aim to educate your children to the best of our ability using all our effort, expertise and experience to provide a range of opportunities for all children in a supportive, thoughtful, Christian school community.

Above all, the schools are happy and caring places, which we hope you will wish to be a part of.  We hope you get a flavour of the school from the website but to gain a better impression do come and visit.

The Federation of two schools was established in 2010.  We have one Governing Body and two Co-Head Teachers.  Both schools operate independently whilst sharing a common ethos and values.

Ring us on 01935 881815 or 01935 881367 to make an appointment. You will be made very welcome.

Ms Liz Stiddard and Mr Jamie Caswell
Co- Headteachers
